The loot is set to masterloot rare for all raid instances. Any green quality items that you find are yours to keep, though we will ask that you pass drops such as rare patterns to the masterlooter. Loot is distributed using a /rand 100 need roll. The official guild definitions of need and greed are listed below.
Need: Direct upgrades to your current raid gear in accordance with primary spec and armor class.
Greed: Off-spec and secondary spec use.
Open Greed: Let's not shard this item.
Items will be rolled out in the following order:
(1a). Rare items (legendaries and super-ass rare things)
1. Tiered armor tokens
2. Armor pieces
3. Jewelry and trinkets
4. Weapons
Raid members are allotted one need epic per person per instance ID. If everyone in your loot pool (example: plate melee DPS, cloth healers, plate tanks) has received their first need epic, secondary need epics will be rolled out and so forth. In other words, in favor of equal distribution, we will ask that you pass on loot if you have already received something. We will not however, disenchant anything if someone even remotely wants it.
Guests and guild applicants are welcome to roll on loot. However, extremely rare items such as legendaries, certain recipes and rare mounts will have guild member priority. Special loot rules may also apply to rare high level weapons that are not easily upgradeable. Such items will be reserved for regular attendees via an attendance minimum.
[Abyss Crystal]s and unrolled epic BoE items will be sent to the guild bank. Nodes are usually rolled for and equally rotated amongst raid members with eligible gathering skills.
